Kenzie Williamson grew up horse crazy in Washington State, and studied Pre-Veterinary Medicine/Animal Science at the University of Hawaii. She returned home to the Pacific Northwest to train marine mammals for the US Navy at Bangor Naval Station. She walked away from what she thought was her "dream job" and started painting model horses instead. She is happy to report she has never looked back! It has become her life's work to recreate and celebrate all things equine through paintwork and sculpture. She creates equine art full-time on a small farm with her husband Carter and their menagerie of ponies, chickens, ducks, birds, goats, dogs, cats & geese.
